For Sid Sommers/// I am surprised more people do not know this trick , for engine install and removal. If the frame is pretty well striped down,(except wheels ) you lay the 135 pound engine on its side, shimming it all around as though it was in the frame (level) Then you lay the frame over the engine and line up some engine mounting holes , put a couple of bolts in, so they can not fall out, then just stand the frame up, and put it on the side stand, and finish bolting engine in. This is by far the simplest and easy way to do it, (center stand is better for finishing the assembly)

Hi,

I've just started a rebuild of a '57 Golden flash plunger - bought completely dismaintled. Do you have any more photo's yet?

Thanks

Sid, as I recall, I just lifted it out onto a nearby chair. Everything else was off the frame, I think. Been a decade!
